Breakdown
The Allak 2 is one of the burliest freestanding tents around. You do not need stakes to set this tent up, but it still can handle all 4 seasons. Its robust build does add some weight, but it is still light enough to put in your pack and carry in. This tent can withstand extreme conditions, and since it is freestanding, you don't have to worry about rocky or sandy terrain making it impossible to set up.
This tent is part of Hilleberg's Red Label Series. Red Label tents are designed to maximize lightweight while still retaining appropriate strength, ease of use, and comfort in all conditions. The Allak 2 fulfills those parameters perfectly.
